This module is designed to capture interaction within communities of practice, provide theoretical underpinning and facilitate critical reflection in relation to professional learning sessions and events. Specifically the module seeks to capture the perceived impact on the personal professional practice of leaders of learning and subsequent perceived impact on learners.
Professional learning sessions and events are delivered at partner work spaces and also at university campuses. Content delivery and evaluation, as part of university quality assurance procedures, is undertaken by University teaching staff with professional learning participants contributing to themed network hubs, identifying further professional learning opportunities. Professional learning sessions and events also provide opportunity to engage with small project and/or research collaboration opportunities.
Module participants are required to engage with attendance at four professional learning sessions/events and produce critical reflective evaluations of each, illustrating impact or potential impact on practice. These evaluations will also illustrate potential impact on learners.
